Alder Buckthorn Bark Tea

• Drink the tea once or twice a day, preferably in the evening, to relieve constipation.

• Rhamnus frangula is generally safe for short-term consumption in recommended doses.
•  Alder Buckthorn may cause diarrhea, abdominal cramps, nausea, stomach discomfort, particularly if taken in excessive amounts.
•  It can lead to dehydration, especially if taken frequently or in large doses and it may cause dizziness, weakness, fatigue or muscle cramps.
•  Alder buckthorn should not be used for extended periods (more than 1–2 weeks) as may be toxic, causing symptoms like severe abdominal cramps, diarrhea, and dehydration.
•  Pregnant and breastfeeding women should AVOID using alder buckthorn.
