Gong Fu Cha Tasting Cups with a capacity of 30 ml
Terracotta tasting cups, glazed on the inside, perfect for sipping small quantities of tea.
Though uncommon in the West, these small cups are widely used in the East, where teas are brewed in small teapots or gaiwans (maximum 120 ml) with multiple infusions.
Gong Fu Cha (工夫茶) method:
- High leaf quantity (6–7 g per 150 ml)
- Very short infusion times (about 30 seconds)
- Multiple infusions up to 6–7 times
