Hot Brewing Infused Fireweed Tea
- To make an infusion, place 1-2 teaspoons of dried Fireweed in a teapot for each cup of tea you intend to brew.
- Cover with boiling water. Place on the lid (or cover your cup with a saucer).
- Allow the mixture to steep for 10 to 15 minutes or overnight.
- Then strain the tea and serve.
- Drink 1-3 cups of tea a day.
- Take fireweed for two to six weeks at a time.
- Be sure to take a two week break before resuming use.
Side Effects
- Fireweed seems to be safe for most people when used properly.
- Women taking hormone therapy, birth control pills or during pregnancy are prohibited from consuming it as the Fireweed interferes with the hormone progesterone.
